About Me
Hello there, I’m Esben Viftrup – sound designer and music producer based in Copenhagen, Denmark. My main area of expertise lies in sound design and music composing for visual media, and I also have a passion for multi-genre music production. I have a bachelor’s degree in sound design and music production from Sonic College.
I have a musical background, with training in both piano and guitar, which i often use in my work. Movies have always fascinated me, and when I discovered the world of sound design and film composing, I was hooked right away. It hit me how vital sound is as a tool in filmmaking, and how it can truly make or break a movie’s impact. The role of a sound designer lets me blend practical skills with creativity, and that’s a perfect fit for me.
